It's hard to imagine being threatened, imprisoned, or even killed simply for believing in Jesus. Yet, for millions of believers around the world, this is an ever-present possibility.
Today, more than 380 million Christians live in places where they face violence, persecution, and isolation because of their faith. Bibles are confiscated, churches are burned, families and communities are torn apart, and in some cases, believers pay the ultimate price. The global church is crying out for our help. Yet for many of us, the question isn't whether to respond, but how.
For years, Open Doors Canada has helped inform and equip Canadian churches to respond to the growing needs of the global church. Open Doors' annual World Watch List serves as a vital window into the 50 nations where our brothers and sisters face the most intense persecution, and can help equip your church to pray for them with clarity and confidence.
